Bossier Parish Speeding Ticket Lawyer & Court Guide

By Stephen Babcock

Bossier’s district-court administration is centered in Benton. Bossier City Court has its own process, and the 26th Judicial District Attorney’s traffic guidance distinguishes city citations from parish cases. A ticket issued near Haughton, Plain Dealing or Bossier City needs the court on the document checked before a payment or appearance is planned.

Court and location at a glance

  • Parish seat: Benton.
  • District-court reference: 26th Judicial District Court. The same judicial district also serves Webster Parish. Each parish still has its own records and hearing instructions.
  • Use the court on the citation: a city, mayor’s, parish or district court may have different procedures. The nearest city and the issuing agency alone do not always identify the correct court.

What matters for a ticket in Bossier Parish

Shreveport also extends into Bossier Parish, so its city guide appears here as well as under Caddo. That geographic connection does not mean a Shreveport City Court rule governs every Bossier ticket. The district attorney’s traffic program has eligibility conditions and excludes tickets already paid; a review before payment can identify whether that particular option is relevant.

Across parish lines: Shreveport spans Caddo Parish and Bossier Parish. These guides appear under each relevant parish. We still check the actual court and location before identifying the case.

If the location mentions the Red River or I-220, our Shreveport–Bossier I-20 guide distinguishes the Bossier City side and the interstate loop.

City and community guides in Bossier Parish

Choose the community on your ticket for more detailed local court references. These guides help identify offices and procedures; they do not determine jurisdiction from a place name alone.

  • Benton — A Benton traffic ticket should be matched to the court and issuing agency before you pay or enroll in a program.
  • Bossier City — A Bossier City stop can lead to different court and payment procedures depending on who issued the ticket.
  • Haughton — Haughton’s 2026 mayor’s court calendar has separate columns for arraignments and trials, continuations and other matters.
  • Plain Dealing — The Town of Plain Dealing citation account lists 205 West Palmetto Avenue, Plain Dealing, Louisiana 71064, and (318) 326-4234.
  • Shreveport — Shared with Caddo Parish. Check the court named on your citation.

Official resources and local references

These official sources support the local court information above. Our team reviews the court, charge and current instructions for your actual ticket. Send us the citation and latest notices for a review of the available representation; a general calendar or payment page does not replace a court order.

Have the citation reviewed before choosing a resolution

Send a clear ticket photo and every later notice. Tell us the required date, license state, whether you hold a CDL, and whether you have already paid or appeared. We identify the court and charge, assess an appropriate non-moving amendment or other supported resolution, and explain our work and fee before representation is confirmed. Contacting us alone does not extend a deadline.

Our speeding-ticket fee promise: If we accept your speeding-ticket case and obtain neither a non-moving amendment nor a dismissal, we refund your full attorney’s fee. Court fines and costs are separate. Read what our fee-refund promise covers.
